Nurnberg, Germany is the home of Albrecht Durer, considered by many to be one of the greatest artists of the Northern European Renaissance. One of the amazing sights in Nurnberg are these intricately-carved wooden statues of saints on the corners of many buildings in the old town, towering over pedestrians.
